Cavalor Colostra – Essential first protection for your newborn foal A good start is invaluable – and for foals, that start completely depends on the intake of high-quality colostrum within the first 24 hours. Does your foal not receive (or insufficient) colostrum from the mare? Cavalor Colostra is the solution for strong immunity from day one ✅ Why Cavalor Colostra is indispensable in your foal box: • Rich in immunoglobulins (min. 30%): essential for building defense against viruses and bacteria • Safe & natural: based on freeze-dried, high-quality colostrum • Specially developed for newborn foals • Ideal for orphaned foals or insufficient colostrum production from the mare • Strengthens the immune system during the critical first days of life For foals that: • Did not receive or received insufficient colostrum after birth • Were born from a mare with low or qualitatively weak colostrum • Need extra support for a healthy start How does it work? Newborn foals have no antibodies at birth. They are completely dependent on colostrum to build immunity. However, the intake of these life-essential substances is time-sensitive: ⏱️ The absorption is most efficient within the first 6 hours after birth. After 24 hours, the window closes. Cavalor Colostra supplements that crucial deficiency of antibodies and helps the foal to prevent infections such as diarrhea and respiratory issues. Composition • High-quality, freeze-dried colostrum • At least 30% immunoglobulins • Completely natural and safe for all foals Use & dosage If no colostrum received: • Administer 1 dose within 6 hours after birth • Repeat after 12–16 hours If insufficient colostrum received: • Give 1 dose within the first 24 hours Preparation: • Mix 1 sachet (100 g) with 0.2 l Cavalor Hyppolac or warm water (not too hot!) • Stir well until fully dissolved • Administer via a bottle with a teat ❗ Note: do not heat in the microwave – this destroys the active immunoglobulins! Cavalor Colostra – For a healthy and strong start when it matters. Indispensable in every breeding stable.
