Cavalor Oilmega ensures a healthy horse from the inside out. The omega 3 – 6 – 9 fatty acids together with the natural antibiotic ensure a healthy intestinal flora and extra support for the immune system.
It ensures a shiny coat, healthy intestinal flora and improved immunity. In addition, a high-fat diet can also result in better sports performance. For horses that perform endurance work, or "hyperactive" horses, energy, offered in the form of fat, can have a beneficial effect on the energy supply during work or on the behavior of the horse.
Fat has a high energy density, which means that horses are less likely to get "hot" compared to some grains.
Did you know?
Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids are essential fatty acids. This means that the body needs these substances but cannot produce them itself. The fatty acids should therefore be absorbed through the ration.
Essential fatty acids can be found in vegetable oils, nuts and grains. Omega 6 fatty acids are mainly present in soybean oil, grains and seeds. Fresh grass, flaxseed, olive oil and rapeseed oil are rich in omega 3 fatty acids. Most horses nowadays get enough omega-6 fatty acids from their diet; Grains that are processed in mueslis and kibble are rich in this fatty acid.
When horses are largely stabled, they often have a lower intake of omega 3 fatty acids because grazing is absent or practically impossible (winter season!). It is important that the ratio between omega-3 and omega-6 remains balanced. If the ratio between omega 3 and omega 6 is right, the horse will automatically start producing enough omega 9.
A correct ratio of omega 3 and 6 fatty acids not only has a positive effect on the immune system but also on the overall health of the horse. An imbalance between these fatty acids can be associated with inflammation, poor coat, reduced immunity and reduced fertility.
Ingredients
Cavalor Oilmega consists of Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids. Vitamin E is added to these oils. Vitamin E counteracts the oxidation of fatty acids, so that they can perform their functions for longer.
The more fat a horse's ration contains, the more vitamin E the horse needs. By adding this vitamin E directly to our oil, you prevent deficiencies in your horse. Cavalor OilMega also contains a natural antibiotic.
This is a balanced and patented mixture of specific fatty acids (medium-chain fatty acids (C6-C12) from tropical plants) that have a positive effect on the intestinal flora.
They boost health and have an anti-aging effect on the cells, increasing the horse's immunity and requiring less energy to protect the horse against infections. This results in a shiny coat and a healthy horse.
