Bit TPU with thread

Scandinavia's best-selling synthetic bit.

The bit is made of thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), the hardest soft synthetic material on the market.

The material used is of medical grade and therefore approved for close contact with humans and horses. It is also resistant to microbes, i.e. the material is not damaged by the bacteria it comes into contact with in the horse's mouth, and it is completely neutral and free of additives, so that no allergies can occur in contact with the bite.

The rings are made of Swedish stainless steel, so they are easy to keep clean and do not rust. Cheaper bits often have rings made of ordinary steel that are nickel-plated, which can lead to nickel allergy in the corners of the horse's mouth. This is avoided with stainless steel rings.

All production takes place in Sweden, so we have full control over the materials used and also the quality of the bit.

The Nova bit is very comfortable for the horse's mouth and encourages the horse to chew on the bit, as it were. However, it is important that the bit sits properly in the horse's mouth, as it is a soft material, so the horse cannot bite into the bit.

We have also made the surface smoother and shinier, so there is no harmful friction irritating the horse's mouth.

To increase safety, a stainless steel cable is molded into the bit, which can withstand a tensile force of 200 kilos.
